From Week 2: The year 2 students have been observing and measuring our class tadpoles on a weekly basis. They have been feeding on pond slime and frozen lettuce and are growing rapidly. What will they grow into?
For the past 3 weeks students have been working in groups researching life cycles of animals, including the penguin, crocodile, dog, cat, seahorse, butterfly and frog. Information has come from books, DVDs, internet, etc.

Week 7: All the year 2 classes successfully graphed their tadpole measurements into a column graph using 'Microsoft Excel'. Can you see a pattern? Check out some examples:
Week 8 - 10: All the year 2 students are working in groups of 3 or 4,depending on their chosen life cycle. They are working hard creating a plasticine model of an animal, due to be completed by (Week 10) Wednesday 1st April, where it will be displayed at the Science Open Night.
